Cada vez, más y más, el mundo nos demuestra la urgencia que tiene por ser cuidado. Nuestro medio ambiente, clama por un accionar consciente, aquel que comienza por esas pequeñas decisiones que tomamos en el día a día. Así, la elección de nuestro modo de transporte es sin dudas de las más importantes.
Así, en Perú, el 70% de la contaminación ambiental proviene de los vehículos según la ONG Luz Ámbar del Perú.
En Latinoamérica cada vez más países optan más por el uso de carros eléctricos, ya que estos reemplazan los combustibles fósiles por electricidad limpia, requiriendo así de menos esfuerzo y energía para funcionar y moverse, logrando en términos de conducción y potencia, convertirse en un auto cero emisiones de rapidez inmediata, en comparación con uno de combustión, apreciándose al iniciar la marcha y acelerar en menos tiempo.
Otro beneficio importante es la eliminación de la contaminación acústica: los carros eléctricos no emiten ruido, pues sus baterías son silenciosas, a diferencia de los vehículos a combustión, que emiten ruidos molestos por los tubos de escape.

Existe el gran mito de que lo sustentable suele ser “más caro”, sin embargo, la visión a largo plazo de estas inversiones resulta ser totalmente ahorrativas y beneficiosas para nuestro bolsillo, Al optar por un auto eléctrico, el costo de funcionamiento es hasta 60% más económico que uno tradicional. Además, tomando en cuenta que el valor de la bencina y del petróleo cada vez va en aumento, el costo comparativo entre ambos modelos es significativamente importante.
“Vemos con mucho ánimo e ilusión los grandes resultados que puede traer el que cada vez más nos sumemos al uso de un transporte más consciente. Sin embargo, sabemos que esto no será posible, sin el apoyo de los gobiernos, Su soporte a la transición a la electromovilidad es clave y no solo con medidas como las que han tomado algunos países en materia de exención de pagos, sino también en el acceso a cargadores eléctricos a lo largo y ancho del territorio nacional” comenta, Carlos Elías, Brand Manager de MG Perú.
Actualmente MG Motors ha continuado ampliando su portafolio de vehículos eléctricos para dar cada vez más opciones al público al mundo entero. Mostrando sus nuevos modelos como la nueva versión del MG ZS EV y el Marvel R. “En Perú, estamos trabajando constantemente para tener disponibles próximamente estos vehículos eléctricos o híbridos, con el objetivo de hacer posible que la movilidad eléctrica sea accesible, ofreciendo autos inteligentes, prácticos, seguros y tecnológicamente avanzados”, comenta, Elías.
Por ello, esperamos con ansias el ver los resultados de estos enormes esfuerzos que ya viene proponiendo la adopción de la electromovilidad.
